Visserszorg weekend house at Commewijne river

The Visserszorg main house was specially designed for comfortable living in the tropics. It has spaces that are high and airy. It has large windows open to the breeze. It has large eaves to keep the house cool and shady, and to protect it against the rain.
The two other buildings – family house and jetty house – have been designed according to the same principles, but they show different solutions.
